Some believe that whatever happens during the course of their lives is inevitable and every event destined and laid out before them like a map to their life; in other words, fate. Fate is defined as a force, principle or power that predetermines events, it is the inevitable events that are destined by this force. Why do Romeo and Juliet meet? Why do Mercutio and Tybalt have to die? Why does Juliet awaken seconds after Romeo dies?
These occurrences are caused by fate.

Interest: FATE My plan for a Total War game set on a space station metropolis is in the works, but for now I’m too busy to handle running a large-scale game in a system I’m not quite familiar with. So I’d like to work with something more familiar to me, and explore mixed-scale conflicts that still focus on individual characters.
Here’s a couple of possibilities: Digital Frontier A Digimon game in which some disaster, natural or otherwise, has forced a large portion of humanity to retreat from the ‘real’ world into the simulated, fantastical, and often nightmarishly violent parallel plane that is the Digital World. It is alien, surreal, even absurd, but there are resources here, for those who survive long enough to learn to recognize the dangers- which is good, because this is a one-way trip.
The only humans who have any real chance of proving themselves fit for this mad realm are those few who were aware of it before everything fell apart, schoolkids from around the world who by fortune or fate found the connection between a series of anomalous programs roaming the internet. That’s you. These programs have ‘imprinted’ on you and dragged you into conflicts well over your heads, giving you the power to bend reality-warping monsters to your wills.
And you? You rose to the challenge, kept your conspiracy, and called yourself the DigiDestined, and fought in secret wars with strange creatures whose origin you never understood. Maybe you thought it was a game; maybe you still do. Maybe you went mad with power when you realized what you could do. Maybe you honestly believed you were better equipped to handle the situation than every adult in the world.
